Comb & Calm was created for modern families who value knowledge, wellness, and peace of mind.

But getting here required building something that didn't exist.

We set out to create an AI-powered lice detection tool because, we ran into the same problem every family faces: there was no quick, reliable, modern resource for this category. No database. No intelligent screening tool. No calm, stigma-free entry point. Just panic, misinformation, and outdated approaches that hadn't changed in decades.

So we built one.

We created the first proprietary dataset built specifically for lice detection. Not repurposed from general AI. Not adapted from something adjacent. Built from the ground up, trained on this category alone, and designed to get smarter with every scan. What exists today is the first of its kind.

The result is a tool that guides you through a few simple photos and returns a plain-language summary -- no diagnosis, no clinical overwhelm, just a clear picture of what's actually there. Because the first step to handling anything well is knowing what you're actually dealing with.
